Our standard
We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the W3C, across the public directory, attorney profiles, Q&A and account areas.
What we've implemented
- Semantic HTML landmarks, headings and breadcrumb navigation on every page;
- full keyboard operability — search, filters, forms and menus work without a mouse;
- visible focus indicators and skip-to-content support;
- color palettes checked for WCAG AA contrast on both light and dark surfaces;
- alt text for informative images and accessible names for icon-only controls;
- forms with programmatically associated labels and clear inline error messages;
- structured data and consistent page titles for screen-reader orientation;
- no content that flashes more than three times per second.
Known limitations
Some attorney-uploaded content (for example, profile photos and firm-supplied documents) may lack complete alternative text. We require alt text on new uploads and are backfilling older content.
