About Alan Holcomb — Over 16 years of Georgia personal injury experience
Alan Holcomb is an attorney based in Marietta, GEORGIA. The practice focuses on Personal Injury. Alan has over 16 years of legal experience. Currently practicing at TorHoerman Law LLC.
From his decade of experience in handling catastrophic injury cases, Alan Holcomb knows that major corporations and insurance companies will never pay the injured fair compensation unless forced to do so by the legal system. It is this philosophy that drives Alan to fight aggressively for his clients every day.
“Our clients, and what they have been through, are so much more than the amount of medical bills or the diagnosis given to them by a doctor,” Alan says. “You have to learn how what really matters – the intangible part of life (love, companionship, enjoying hobbies, growing as a person) – has been impacted by corporate negligence in order to get true justice. Understanding our clients and providing relief to their suffering is the most fulfilling part of my job.”
Alan has been widely recognized for his prowess and experience as a trial lawyer in serious injury cases involving trucking accidents, products liability, traumatic brain injuries, burn injuries, and medical malpractice. Alan obtained his law degree from the Emory University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia. Prior to forming Turnbull, Holcomb & LeMoine, Alan was an equity partner in the preeminent insurance defense firm in the country. There he represented the world’s largest insurance companies and corporations in catastrophic injury and death cases.
“I have seen how large corporations treat their employees, the people who buy their products, and even their own lawyers – at best with indifference and at worst with palpable disdain,” Alan says. “I wanted to be a part of the system that equalizes the relative power of those groups – the civil justice system.”
Alan has handled cases in more than 20 states, from California to Iowa to Georgia to Maryland. He has tried cases involving products liability, serious burn injuries, wrongful death, chemical exposure, car accidents, lung disease, and negligent security. He takes this experience and puts it to work for his clients.
