Alton C. Todd has more than fifty years of experience fighting for the citizens of Galveston and Friendswood, Texas. He earned his bachelor’s degree from North Texas State University in 1968 before going on to get his juris doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1971. He spent the first part of his career working for an insurance defense firm, which gave him a unique insight into how these companies structure their arguments and strategies. This allows him to build a stronger defense for the accident victims he fights for today.

Alton quickly moved to the plaintiff’s side of personal injury law and over the next two decades of his career, launched The Law Firm of Alton C. Todd. In 2000, he moved his firm to Friendswood, Texas, and he’s been fighting for the citizens of southeast Texas ever since.

Alton has received numerous accolades during his decades as a personal injury lawyer. In 1981, he earned his board certification in personal injury trial law, and the following year, he became board certified in civil trial law. He is also a certified civil trial advocate.
