Biography

Amy A. Wuliger, business attorney serving Cleveland

Amy A. Wuliger is a founder based in Cleveland, OH. The practice focuses on Business, Estate Litigation, and Litigation. Amy has over 29 years of legal experience. Currently practicing at Wuliger & Wuliger. Amy works from Cleveland, Ohio and takes on business matters across the region.

Amy started the practice of law as a public defender in Washington, DC. Eventually, she branched out into civil practice, representing clients in both state and federal courts in a wide variety of matters including fraud, commercial and contract disputes, securities law, domestic relations, personal injury, and legal malpractice.

Amy was born in Cleveland and raised in Northeast Ohio by a single father – also a lawyer (and former public defender) – who taught her to always fight for the underdog with tenacity and persistence. After college, she moved to Washington, DC where she worked at a trade association promoting U.S. agricultural exports. Nevertheless, her fascination with the legal system never waned. She attended law school in the evenings at Georgetown University and, following in her father’s footsteps, became a public defender. She tried – and won – her first case just six weeks after being admitted to the DC Bar. In 2012, Amy left the Washington, DC metropolitan area and returned to Cleveland with her husband and three children. When she and her father decided to start their own firm in 2016, their vision was to create a full-service law firm with a “small firm” atmosphere.

Amy is an active member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and has served on several committees, including as past Chairman of the Ethics & Professionalism Committee. She has also written multiple articles for the local bar journal and been a speaker at numerous continuing legal education seminars.

Amy has extensive trial experience, both criminal and civil, and has participated in countless evidentiary hearings in federal and state courts located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, and the District of Columbia. She has also handled dozens of cases in federal and state courts of appeals. Her efforts have contributed to the award of over $65 million in settlements and judgments for Wuliger & Wuliger’s clients.
