Prior to joining the Firm, Ashton was an Associate Attorney at two Akron law firms, focusing exclusively on estate planning and trust and estate administration. She was also a Trust Officer at Key Private Bank, where she handled trust administrations, which provided her with the knowledge and understanding of a corporate fiduciary’s perspective. Ashton was also a Law Clerk at the Summit County Probate Court, which exposed her to the inner workings of the Probate Court.

In 2014, Ashton received her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, in the top 15% of her class.
