Mr. Sonsino often serves as outside General Counsel for his clients, providing all of the services an in-house counsel would provide without the ongoing expense burden.

He began his law career in 1981 as in-house counsel for Tesoro Petroleum, based in San Antonio, and then as in-house counsel for the Southwest Division of Tenneco Oil Company, also in San Antonio. After a stint with the downtown San Antonio law firm of McCamish, Ingram, Martin & Brown, Mr. Sonsino established a solo law practice in 1987, practicing on his own and subsequently with this wife, Kerry, until 2007, when he merged his practice with Pulman, Cappuccio & Pullen, LLP.
