I am the founder of LLOYD LAW, PLLC and a native of Northern Virginia. I deem it an honor and privilege to meet the legal needs of residents of this region.

My hometown is Vienna, and back in the day a much younger Barbara attended Fairfax County schools. Majoring in Government and Politics, I graduated from George Mason University with my B.A. degree in 1979. Pursuing a legal education over the next few years, I received my J.D. degree from G.M.U. School of Law in 1984. My family has lived in Prince William County for the past decade and currently resides in Haymarket.

LLOYD LAW, PLLC provides legal services that are personalized, results-oriented, and professional. This is a top priority for clients as we work together to resolve the issues at hand. I bring to the table over 15 years of experience in the areas of estate planning and special needs.

My life experiences add a unique dimension to my legal focus. As the mother of an adult son with multiple disabilities, I understand firsthand the challenges of caring for someone with special needs. As an attorney who is also a caregiver, I appreciate the value of designing and implementing creative, viable strategies and solutions to address concerns and, whenever possible, to settle disputes. My approach is pragmatic yet empathetic.

I look forward to an opportunity to meet with you to discuss your legal needs.
