Prior to and while attending law school, Barry worked for Volvo/Mack Trucks in Greensboro, NC, in the financial controlling section of the heavy-duty and long-haul truck manufacturing business areas. Volvo gave Barry opportunities for international travel and he has been to Sweden, France, Brazil, and Japan. Barry is thankful for his time with Volvo/Mack as it gave him a truly global experience and lasting friendships with colleagues from literally all over the world.

In his spare time, Barry enjoys running, weightlifting, and fitness in general. Barry is an eternally curious, life-long learner who enjoys reading and studying Greek mythology and other ancient writings. He is also a confirmed animal lover and science fiction enthusiast. Barry always enjoys engaging with others in conversation, particularly on the topics of science, philosophy, linguistics, art, and pop-culture.
