I am adept at dealing with the unique issues involving teenage offenders and in keeping teenage offenders in juvenile court and preventing transfer to adult court. For several years I was a Pro-Tem Judge in the Juvenile Division of the Maricopa County Superior Court. I have taught legal courses for judges and clerks in the Maricopa County Justice Court system. I am currently a Pro-Tem Judge in the tribal courts of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.
Since joining the firm in 1990, I have focused my energies on criminal defense cases. In any given year, I may travel to various counties throughout Arizona and defend both felony and misdemeanor cases at the trial level. I bring a unique perspective to some of the more difficult defense cases: alcohol related accidents involving serious injury; domestic violence events; weapons violations; and dangerous crimes against children.
I have also defended highly complex white collar and mortgage fraud cases in federal court. I have the distinction of being rated AV® by Martindale Hubbell for providing quality services within the legal community.
