Biography

Meet Brian Murray — legal lawyer in Albuquerque

Brian Murray is a lead attorney based in Albuquerque, NM. Brian has over 23 years of legal experience. Currently practicing at Parnall Law Firm, LLC.

Brian Murray is an attorney who recently joined Parnall Law Firm. He was born and raised on Long Island, New York, as the youngest of three siblings. Throughout his childhood, he enjoyed camping with his family and actively participated in various sports, including hockey, football, and lacrosse. During his time at Boston College in Massachusetts, Brian played Rugby and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy in 1999.

Following his undergraduate studies, Brian returned to Long Island and pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at Hofstra University Law School, which he obtained in 2002. He passed the New York State Bar later that same year. Brian's legal career began with a firm specializing in Insurance Defense Litigation, where he gained valuable experience in trying cases. He then transitioned to working as in-house counsel for insurance carriers such as Geico, Progressive, and Plymouth Rock Assurance, as well as a trial firm representing various other carriers. Throughout his career, Brian developed a reputation as a successful trial attorney, which opened up management opportunities for him.

Outside of his legal career, Brian joined his hometown volunteer Fire Department while in college and remained an active member. He found great joy in giving back to his community and helping others. This commitment to serving others has carried over into his professional career.

In 2005, Brian married his wife Rebecca, and they have lived on Long Island their entire lives. However, during the pandemic, they decided to embark on a new adventure, which brought them to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Brian sees joining Parnall Law Firm as the perfect opportunity to shift his focus back to helping people in his community and fighting for justice for injured victims.

Family is of utmost importance to Brian, and he cherishes his relationship with his wife and their three children, Jack, Aubrie, and Sawyer. They are currently adjusting to their new life in New Mexico and appreciate the diversity and opportunities the state has to offer compared to Long Island.

During their leisure time, the Murray family enjoys visiting Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Despite the long road trip, they embrace the adventure, although traveling with their kids, two dogs, and a cat can be challenging at times.
