Mr. Nelson was raised in Orange County, California. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2008. He attended Chapman University School of Law (now called Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law), where he obtained his juris doctorate in 2011. Mr. Nelson started with Ringstad & Sanders LLP as a summer clerk during the summer of 2009, and returned as a summer clerk in the summer of 2010.
