Born and raised in Bismarck, Briana graduated from Century High School in 2010 and went on to earn an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Minnesota in 2013. From there, she attended law school at the University of Nebraska College of Law, graduating in the top five percent of her law school class in May of 2016. While in law school, she served as the Nebraska Law Review's Online Editor, represented the Nebraska College of Law at the 2015 ABA National Client Counseling Competition after winning the regional championship, and was elected to the Order of the Coif. She was also sure to attend every Minnesota-Nebraska football game during her time in Lincoln, sporting her Gopher apparel, of course.

In her personal time, Briana enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, Klark, their son, Ollie, and dog, Bader. Her crew likes to travel and particularly enjoys summer weekends at the lake and taking full advantage of the snow in the mountains when they are able.
