He then earned a Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, where he won the American Jurisprudence Award in Personal Injury Law (Torts) for achieving the highest grade. He was also named to Thomas Jefferson’s Dean’s List and the National Dean’s List for outstanding academic performance.
Brooks then spent several years working for a large personal injury law firm where he litigated complex, high value personal injury cases and environmental lawsuits, like the Nitro Dioxin Class Action against Monsanto. Brooks then decided he wanted to focus exclusively on helping individuals injured by negligence. He also saw the need for a personal injury law firm that put clients first; thus, he established West Law Firm with the mission to provide each client excellent service and financial results.
