He provides legal and strategic advice on lands and resource matters, on-reserve infrastructure, government to government negotiations, mining, energy, and land use planning. He is class counsel on national class actions regarding infrastructure on reserve, and does work addressing the intersection of Indigenous legal orders and the Canadian regulatory state.
Bryce graduated from the University of Toronto, where he was the co-founder and first Editor-in-Chief of the Indigenous Law Journal. Before joining OKT, he worked in New York City at a global law firm.
In addition to his private practice, Bryce teaches at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he was awarded the Truth & Reconciliation Teaching Award, which recognizes professors who have made an outstanding contribution to the implementation of Call to Action #28 from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's Final Report.
Bryce is a member of the bars of Ontario and New York State.
