Prior to that, Cavan worked in his father’s private law practice in his hometown of Littleton, New Hampshire. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2009 from Bates College, where he was captain of the Men’s Rugby Club. Before enrolling in law school, Cavan worked as a recovery aide at a rehabilitation facility for adolescents suffering from substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. His experience there continues to serve his principled approach as an attorney.
