Prior to that date Mr. Shamash operated as a sole practitioner from approximately 1996 through 1999, and as an Associate for the law firm Wilkinson & Sood from approximately 1995 through 1996. Since entering private practice in 1995 Mr. Shamash has focused primarily on bankruptcy matters, has successfully handled thousands of chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases, and has represented chapter 7 trustees in cases before the Bankruptcy Court. In addition, he has represented creditors and other parties in interest in various matters related to bankruptcy, and various parties in out of court debt workouts and restructuring.
