After graduating from Southport High School in Indianapolis in 1996, Chris Eskew attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science in 2000. While in college, he played football for all four years for the Tigers and was an active member of Delta Tau Delta. After graduating from college, he developed a passion for litigation, criminal law, and assisting individuals who were wrongly or unfairly accused of crimes. He began law school at Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana. While in law school, he participated in the Criminal Defense Clinic in which he acted as a student attorney and assisted real clients. In addition, he participated in of Moot Court, which helped him refine his oral argument and legal brief writing skills.Chris Eskew graduated Indiana University School of Law and took the Indiana bar exam in 2006. He was admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana in 2006. He is licensed to practice criminal defense in all county, appellate, and federal courts in the state of Indiana.
Chris founded Eskew Law in 2011 but has concentrated his legal career on criminal defense for nearly a decade. He first began his legal career at the Marion County Public Defender’s Agency in 2007. He also worked as a partner with Snyder, Knowles, Eskew & Bunch in 2008, Eskew & Strup in 2009, and Eskew & Bailey in 2010 before forming his solo practice, Eskew Law, in 2011. To date, Eskew Law has grown and now houses several full-time attorneys.He has devoted his professional focus to criminal law, dedicating 100% of his practice to criminal and DUI defense. Chris Eskew remains active in the criminal law community, both locally and nationally. He is a member of the Indiana Bar, Indianapolis Bar, and American Bar Associations. He is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National College for DUI Defense, the American Association of Legal Advocates, and National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. He continues to further his legal education by attending seminars such as the National Criminal Defense College’s Trial Practice Institute in Macon, GA.Since becoming an attorney, Chris Eskew has been recognized for his superior litigation skills.
