He is a partner in Keller Rohrback’s nationally recognized Complex Litigation Group and practices in the firm’s Santa Barbara office. He is experienced in cases involving consumer protection, data privacy and cybersecurity, environmental protection, disability access, employment rights, and ERISA.

Chris is a graduate of Dartmouth College and U.C. Berkeley School of Law. Before joining Keller Rohrback, he worked in the field of software development and testing. His practice now focuses on data privacy and other consumer-protection litigation. Since joining Keller Rohrback, Chris has applied his legal knowledge and technical understanding to help develop and expand the firm’s work in the growing field of data privacy and cybersecurity, helping to resolve cases that collectively have settled for more than $1 billion on behalf of hundreds of millions of class members, including hard-fought settlements in the Sony Pictures, 21st Century Oncology, and UnityPoint data breach matters, as well as in T-Mobile Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, the second-largest data breach settlement in history, and in Facebook Consumer Privacy User Profile Litigation, the largest data privacy settlement in history. He is also actively involved in other ongoing data breach, data privacy, and other matters, including 23andMe Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, T-Mobile 2022 Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, and Consumer Vehicle Driving Data Tracking Litigation.
