Chris Lenzo is a partner in the New Jersey law firm of Lenzo & Reis, LLC. He represents employees in employment law matters, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, trial litigation, and appellate litigation of claims of discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodate disabilities, family and medical leave violations, breach of contract, and wage and hour violations.
In his practice, Chris has litigated several reported cases, some of which involved landmark decisions. He and his colleague Claudia Reis won a $1.549 million jury verdict in a retaliation case against New Jersey Transit after a month-long trial during 2009.
From 2014 to 2018, Mr. Lenzo was among the Top 100 New Jersey Super Lawyers receiving the most votes from other members of the bar. He has been included in the Thomson Reuters list of New Jersey Super Lawyers in the areas of labor and employment law and plaintiffs’ employment litigation since 2005.*

In March 2013, Mr. Lenzo was Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney. That distinction is attained based on references by judges and other attorneys, and through passing a written examination.
In December 2020, Mr. Lenzo was nominated by his peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation (“ABF”) to be a Fellow of the ABF. The Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities.
