During her time at Weisbart Springer Hayes, Colleen has been a part of several winning trial teams in court and arbitration. Colleen regularly advises clients on employment disputes and assists employers large and small in responding to charges of discrimination made to the Texas Workforce Commission and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Colleen also has extensive experience representing universities in defending discrimination, deliberate indifference, and erroneous outcome claims brought by current and former students under Title IX, as well as premises liability and negligence claims. Colleen’s practice also includes advising clients going through divorce on matters related to their community property business interests.
