I was born in Chicago and raised in Connecticut, I moved to the Denver metro area after graduating magna cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. Prior to entering law school I was an aviation structural mechanic in the U.S. Navy, serving for five years and through three combat deployments aboard the Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN 69.
