Mr. Edelberg Chairs the Bankruptcy Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Chairs the Law Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association and is a Trustee of the New Jersey Bar Association. Mr. Edelberg is a past President of the Bergen County Bar Association and is a Member of the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI.)Mr. Edelberg’s representative matters include representing a celebrity fashion designer in a successful execution of a contested cramdown plan of reorganization and contesting confirmation of plans of reorganization on behalf of secured creditors. He has also successfully prosecuted involuntary bankruptcy filings against insolvent entities.
Mr. Edelberg has published articles and speaks regarding bankruptcy-related matters. He spoke at the New Jersey State Bar Mid-Year Conference in Puerto Rico (November 2019) on La Insolvencia – A View of Bankruptcy from Puerto Rico. He published, Fraudulent Transfers of Customer Lists and Other Intangible Assets, New Jersey Law Journal (2016)Mr. Edelberg was appointed by the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey to the District Ethics Committee, District II-B.
