In the insurance coverage area, he has helped business and individual policyholders resolve insurance coverage disputes throughout the U.S. through negotiation and litigation and has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of clients. These complex disputes involve many types of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices liability, first-party property, fidelity/crime, motion picture/television liability, professional liability, aviation, tour/event interruption and cyber risks. In addition, David's commercial litigation experience includes the representation of commercial property owners, developers, commercial landlords and tenants as well as other complex business litigation.
Since 2006, David has been selected for inclusion in the Southern California Super Lawyers, and he is also listed in Who's Who in America. He is a regular speaker on complex insurance issues. David is involved in various civic and professional organizations, including the Litigation Section and Insurance Coverage and Corporate Counsel Subsections of the American Bar Association, the Association of Business Trial Lawyers and the ProVisors Beverly Hills III.
