David Aronowitz received his undergraduate degree at Hobart College in 1982 and earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law in 1986. Mr. Aronowitz is a former member of the Tort Committee of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association the Kings County Bar Association, and a former member of the Judiciary Committee of the Kings County Bar Association. Mr. Aronowitz focuses on providing counsel to the transportation and rental car industries. His practice includes the trial of high exposure personal injury cases; commercial litigation and insurance coverage disputes. His clients include numerous self-insured entities in the transportation industry, commercial property owners, restaurants and commercial cleaning contractors.

David began his defense career at a downtown litigation firm where worked as an associate and was named partner and eventually the firm’s managing partner. His practice includes representing clients in all courts in the Metropolitan area and upstate New York. He has joined Pillinger Miller Tarallo LLP to expand the geographic location and variety of legal services for his clients.

David has been married to his wife Peggy for almost thirty years. They have two sons Benjamin and Mathew and a Portuguese Water Dog named Willie Mays. Peggy is a talented baker. For twenty years she volunteered in elementary, middle, and high school to support the youth of our community. Ben has joined the world of e-commerce and is engaged to be married. Mathew is following in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great uncle and is currently a second-year student at Brooklyn Law School.

David is an advocate for youth sports. He started coaching little league baseball and youth football as a first-year law student as a tribute to the memory of his father who coached little league teams for many years. He was the President of the South Riverdale Little League for over ten years. Now retired from coaching David enjoys watching his beloved New York Mets, music and walking Willie with Peggy.
