I have been practicing law since 1993 and I have been focused on immigration law since 2001. I have experience working for the US Air Force as a Judge Advocate and I have worked as an executive for a startup software company and as a civil service attorney with the US Department of Defense. I have founded several businesses besides my law firm--my favorite was a specialty coffee shop where I learned to roast coffee and became a certified barrista. In my private life, I sing bass with several semi-professional groups and I serve as a board member, officer and leader of several local non-profit organizations. I am a competitive bodybuilder as well. I am a volunteer high school mock trial coach and judge. When I get some free time from these activities I like to watch movies and read interesting books.
