About Devon Quinn — Over 6 years of New York family law experience

Devon Quinn is an associate based in New York, NY. The practice focuses on Family Law. Devon has over 6 years of legal experience. Currently practicing at Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, LLP.

Devon Quinn is a highly skilled matrimonial attorney specializing in complex family law matters for high-net-worth individuals. Devon brings a sophisticated yet practical perspective to resolving disputes in all aspects of family and matrimonial law.

Devon received her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where she was named the Joan L. Ellenbogen Fellow for outstanding contributions to family law. While in law school, Devon served as an intern for both the Honorable Jeffrey S. Sunshine as well as the Honorable Lori S. Sattler in dedicated Supreme Court matrimonial parts in Kings County and New York County, respectively. She completed her clinical experience at the Children's Law Center, representing children in high-conflict custody matters in Kings County Family Court. Devon's note, Her Belly, Their Baby: A Contract Solution for Surrogacy Agreements (65 J.L & POL'Y 805), was selected for publication in the Brooklyn Law School Journal of Law & Policy in Spring of 2018.

Following her graduation from law school, Devon served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Matthew F. Cooper (ret.) in a dedicated matrimonial part of the New York County Supreme Court. During this time, Devon assisted with the adjudication of a wide range of high conflict and high net worth matrimonial matters featuring disputes over custody, spousal maintenance, child support, and the equitable distribution of marital estates. In collaboration with Judge Cooper and other court staff, Devon researched and drafted matrimonial decisions, several of which were published in the New York Law Journal and New York State's Official Reporter. Since leaving the New York County Supreme Court, her private practice has focused exclusively in matrimonial and family law, and she brings her unique understanding of how matrimonial judges evaluate and adjudicate their cases to her advocacy on behalf of clients facing complex custody matters and divorces with significant financial issues. Devon is also certified as a mediator, who uses her mediation and negotiation skills to help parties craft mutually beneficial settlement and prenuptial agreements.

Devon earned her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Cornell University. She resides in Brooklyn with her partner.
