Edward Gordon is a Partner in the Bakersfield office of Borton Petrini, LLP.Mr. Gordon was raised all over the country and settled in California while attending junior high school. Mr. Gordon attended college at the University of California Berkeley and ultimately received his law degree from the University of Southern California. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1990, and the Colorado Bar in 2000.

Mr. Gordon is licensed to practice law in all of the State Courts of California and admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Central Districts of California. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation involving insurance defense, business disputes, personal injuries, and municipal law matters.

Mr. Gordon has represented clients in jury trials, court trials, arbitrations, mediations and regulatory enforcement actions. He has argued multiple appeals before the California Courts of Appeal and has authored the briefing in published opinions in Federal and State Courts.

Mr. Gordon has lived in Truckee since 1999, and has maintained a statewide practice. He is married to Lynn Gordon, and has an 18 year old son, Max. He is a former member of the United States Canoe and Kayak team, and was selected to represent the United States in international competition from 2001-2003, and again in 2019. He continues to challenge himself on the local rivers, trails and slopes.
