A cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College in 1983, he earned his Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law in 1987, where he participated in the Law Review and Moot Court Honors Program. Following law school, Mr. Lear began his career as a litigation associate at Thelen, Marrin, Johnson & Bridges before serving as a State Bar prosecutor in Los Angeles, where he successfully prosecuted California attorneys without losing a trial. In 2002, Mr. Lear founded Century Law Group, LLP, where he continues to focus on complex litigation and professional license defense. With over 150 cases tried, he is widely regarded for his trial expertise, frequently speaking at legal and real estate seminars and contributing articles on various legal topics. He has also been qualified as an expert witness in both state and federal courts.
