Obtained a take nothing judgment based on a jury verdict that the information used was not a trade secret.
• Successfully defended a roofing contractor from allegations that a homeowner’s roof was improperly repaired. Obtained a take nothing judgment as well as monetary damages against the plaintiff for breach of contract based on a jury verdict that the roof repairs were adequately completed and the plaintiff failed to pay for the work.
• Successfully prosecuted a tenant claim for civil theft after an eviction. Obtained a favorable jury verdict and judgment awarding his client the fair market value of her stolen personal property.
• Successfully prosecuted and settled a will contest for a client against her sibling for unduly influencing their father to execute a will intentionally disinheriting her.
• Successfully prosecuted and settled real estate fraud claims on behalf of clients who were sold property burdened with delinquent property taxes. The sellers utilized seller financing to avoid disclosure of the delinquent property taxes until after the sale was final. Once the delinquent taxes were discovered, suit was filed and a speedy settlement was obtained.
• Successfully prosecuted a real estate claim on behalf of a client who was sold a mobile home which was nearly ten years older than represented. Obtained monetary damages against the defendants, awarded in a final judgement after a jury trial.
