Mr. Agranoff, who is not a member of the family, directs, along with a family member, the investment policies of the Partnership. In addition, he is a principal of, and general counsel to the investment manager of a macroeconomic investment fund. For many years, Mr. Agranoff was a principal of, and general counsel to, the Edelman Companies, which included a United States registered broker-dealer in stocks and securities, a value-oriented investment fund, and an investment fund engaged in arbitrage transactions and corporate activism. He has been an adjunct instructor at New York University’s Institute of Federal Taxation and served as an attorney-advisor to a judge of the United States Tax Court. Mr. Agranoff has been a member of the Board of Directors of several publicly traded companies as a member of the audit committee and compensation committee. He received his LLM in Taxation from New York University and JD and BS degrees from Wayne State University.
