In 1988, Craig received his bachelor’s of science degree in accounting from the University of Utah. Following his graduation, he spent a brief period working for a public accounting firm. While at the accounting firm Craig realized his passions would be better channeled into the practice of law in order to help people being taken advantage of by big business. He enrolled at the University of Utah College of Law. While a law student Craig served as a senior editor for the Journal of Contemporary Law and enjoyed success in his trial advocacy and moot court competitions. In 1991 he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Utah.
Craig and his wife Susan are parents of four daughters and one son. In his free time, Craig enjoys traveling and is an avid reader. He supports Justice for All, a group that gives legal services to individuals who can’t afford normal legal fees. He continues to be very involved in his community, campaigning in particular for improved child safety.
