Before establishing the Firm, Mr. Maggs worked as a tax accountant for two International “Big 8” accounting firms where he honed his innate financial and business instincts. Following law school, he worked in two prestigious New Jersey law firms where he gained valuable knowledge in various fields of law. With over 30 years of experience, he has combined his vast business and legal knowledge to guide his clients through a diverse spectrum of legal issues including physician services and related healthcare law, personal injury, worker’s compensation, corporate transactions and litigation, trusts and estates, and real estate transactions. With the collaboration of the Firm’s team of partners and associates, he has been responsible for many of the verdicts and settlements reported on this website.

Mr. Maggs obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Villanova University, and he graduated from Seton Hall School of Law, Magna Cum Laude, and was the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Constitutional Law Journal.

Mr. Maggs was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1991 and has also been admitted to the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, United States District Court, District of Rhode Island, United States District Court, Northern District, Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit, and Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County.

Mr. Maggs established the Firm in 1995 and is the Firm’s Managing Partner. Mr. Maggs is also the President of the DG Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to supporting education, healthcare, and other philanthropic initiatives.
