Dean was admitted to the United States District Court, Eastern District of Texas in 2002; admitted to the United States District Court and Western District of Texas in 2004; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in 2004. Dean graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1997 and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law in 2001. Dean is experienced in a broad range of litigation matters including tort and mass tort litigation, products liability, construction litigation, commercial litigation, fraud, deceptive trade practices, transportation litigation, new law worker’s compensation and insurance litigation. Dean is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Dean and his wife, Dr. Amy Jackson, D.D.S., M.S. have two children—a daughter, Kate and a son, Jett. They are very active in their church, Concordia Lutheran Church. Dean was a three year football letterman at Baylor University, and selected as team captain for the years 1995 and 1996, All-Big XII linebacker in 1996, Baylor University All-Decade Team 1990-1999, Baylor Athletic Advisory Council, All-Big XII Academic, All-SWC Academic, and Alwin O. Highers Award 1995; additionally, Dean received the Bobby Jones Memorial Award in 1996. Dean is a shareholder in Curney, Farmer, House & Osuna, P.C. and specializes in: trucking litigation, premises liability issues, large Agri-Business claims and complex commercial litigation.
