Prior to that, Jim graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia, where he was a Distinguished Major in history and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. Jim is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, where he attended Montgomery Bell Academy. Jim has been repeatedly recognized in Chambers USA for his experience in commercial litigation. Jim is an Adjunct Professor at Belmont University, teaching a business law course in the Jack C. Massey College of Business.
