This transformative experience fueled his commitment to advocating for underdogs, leading him to pursue his Juris Doctor at Capital University Law School in 2018. During law school, he was honored as a Marshall Brennan Constitutional Law Fellow, a Moot Court Board Member, and a Family and Youth Advocacy Fellow.
After graduating, Jared founded a law firm in Columbus, where he represented clients suffering from injuries not of their own fault. In 2022, following the passing of his close family friend and colleague Jeremy Burnside, he relocated to Portsmouth to lead Burnside Brankamp Law. Today, he is admitted to practice before the Ohio Supreme Court, the Kentucky Supreme Court, the United States Southern District of Ohio, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice encompasses personal injury and constitutional law matters, with a focus on car accidents, trucking accidents, traumatic brain injuries, wrongful death, workplace injuries, slip and fall incidents, and dog bites.
