Mr. Loew’s practice further includes representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in fiduciary disputes and regarding accountings; trust and probate petitions and administration; and conservatorship matters. Mr. Loew brings to his practice more than a decade of experience in these areas.

As an estate planner and trust administration advisor, Mr. Loew employs a wide range of estate planning techniques to help clients meet their estate planning needs and wealth transfer objectives, from straightforward wills to complex trust agreements.

Mr. Loew’s skills and training make him an excellent mediator in trust and estate disputes, and he has also served as an expert witness in those areas, including providing expert reports and appearing for deposition, trial, and in mediation.

Mr. Loew is certified as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization, a title held by less than half of one percent of practicing attorneys in California, and by only about three percent of estate planning attorneys. Mr. Loew is also a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estates Counsel, ACTEC.

Mr. Loew successfully represents clients at both the trial and appellate levels as well as in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.

In addition to the areas described above, Mr. Loew is the founding President of the San Mateo County Law Library Foundation, helping provide access to all members of the community, including independent attorneys and low-income individuals seeking advice and support. Mr. Loew formerly served as Chair of the Trusts and Probate section of the San Mateo County Bar Association, and on the Board of Trustees of the Silicon Valley Bar Association, where he was the judicial liaison to the San Mateo County Probate Court. Mr. Loew is also an active member of the Mills-Peninsula Hospital Foundation’s Philanthropic Advisors Council.
