Mr. DiMedio also spent many years supporting clients’ land development and community construction projects, and has experience representing such clients in all phases of real estate, including: site evaluation, land acquisition, due diligence, approvals/permitting, unit sales/marketing, settlements and community association formation and administration. He has also served as a municipal planning board solicitor, and incorporates his extensive real estate experience into his handling of land acquisition, development and related outside agency matters including environmental concerns, zoning, utility and capacity issues.
Mr. DiMedio’s commercial practice focuses on supporting day-to-day business owners and operators to include enforcement of contract rights and obligations, corporate governance, commercial collections, partnership and shareholder disputes, and employment and enforcement matters. His clients include individuals and entrepreneurs, partnerships and small/closely-held business entities and owner/operators in contract resolutions, construction and lien claims, collection matters, tax and real estate tax appeals, mediations, arbitrations, and other commercial issues. He has represented physicians, engineers, and other licensed professionals as well.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. DiMedio served as in-house counsel to privately-owned real estate development companies and to a publicly-traded building company, as well as a Partner in a Philadelphia based regional firm serving in the Business Services and Trusts & Estates Departments. His experience includes serving in as a New Jersey Civil Arbitrator, and in New Jersey State government in Trenton, as well as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John B. Mariano P.J.Civ. (Ret.), Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden County.
Mr. DiMedio has been a lifelong resident of New Jersey, and currently resides in Haddonfield with his wife and their five children. He graduated from Haddonfield Memorial High School and the University of Delaware, before attending law school. Mr. DiMedio also spent many years working for his family’s businesses, DiMedio Lime Company & DuBell Lumber Company, which have served the region’s building materials needs for over 60 years.
Mr. DiMedio is a member of the Advisory Board for Rowan School of Medicine C.A.R.E.S. Institute and The Canuso Foundation/Babes Kids charities. He also serves a general counsel for The Children’s Fresh Air Home and Haddon Heights Good Neighbors, non-profit assistance organizations, and is a member of the Board of Governors of Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, New Jersey.
