Kyle Basinger is a highly regarded family attorney who draws on deep experience and a competitive nature in seeking to prevail for his clients. A seasoned litigator, experienced mediator, and collaborative lawyer, he handles the gamut of family law matters, with special emphasis in complex property, child custody, and business cases. In addition, Kyle has cultivated a niche in working through the mediation process with Christians, who often struggle with reconciling divorce and their faith.
Kyle began his legal career as a civil litigator but realized that family law was his calling when he assisted with an extremely complicated divorce case involving multi-level corporations. Since then, he has successfully resolved many cases of high-net-worth divorce. Understanding family dynamics, Kyle has a heart for protecting the interests of stay-at-home spouses and those who may feel powerless. He is also experienced with Collaborative Divorce as well as pre- and post-marital agreements. Kyle gives clients confidence that he will take care of every aspect of their cases.
Prior to graduating from law school, Kyle received an MBA, making him uniquely suited to handling complex business matters as part of a high-net-worth divorce. He is especially skilled in developing innovative approaches when a business can’t be divided. For example, Kyle helped a client who operated a company with their spouse. The innovative solution Kyle suggested, and the parties agreed to, was to create a new company where both former spouses could run their own affiliated company. While clients recognize Kyle as a patient listener and strategic planner, the other side knows him as a lawyer who is persistent and stands strong for his clients.
