Lisa M. Tehranian graduated from Hofstra University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with minor concentrations in English, History and Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate degree in 1994 from New England School of Law and is admitted to practice in the New York State Bar as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.

At Hofstra University, Lisa served on the University Senate as both student chairperson and senator, held elected office in Phi Epsilon Sorority, and was a participant in the university honors program. Additionally, Lisa was awarded the Hofstra University Bovenaan Award, inducted into Phi Alpha Theta International History Honor Society and named in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

While at New England School of Law, Lisa served as Chapter Clerk and Chapter Justice of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, received the American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law and was named in Who’s Who: American Law Students. During law school, Lisa held internships at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office Appeals Bureau and the United States Bankruptcy Court as well as an externship at the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Division of Public Charities.

Following law school graduation, Lisa joined the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County as a staff attorney assigned to a District Court trial part and ultimately as a member of the Felony Team. Lisa was also assigned to the Senior Citizen Division of the Suffolk County LAS and worked as Special Counsel at the Office of the Smithtown Town Attorney for a short time. From 2001 to 2018, Lisa was in private practice and handled all aspects of criminal and traffic cases, residential real estate transactions, family court matters and other areas of law. While in private practice, Lisa was of Counsel to Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C., where she primarily represented members of Local 338, Local 6000 and Local 1056.

Lisa joined Feldman, Kramer & Monaco in May 2018 and is assigned to the Real Estate Department. During her time at FKM, Lisa has been instrumental in realizing over $6.5 million in recoveries for LegalShield members.
