As a bar advocate, Mr. Ruddy accepted court appointments to represent indigent criminal defendants. He was also a member of the Franklin County Bar Advocate for Elders Grant Program and Franklin County Bar Advocate for Women Grant Program. As a member of the Franklin County Bar Advocate for Elders Grant Program, Mr. Ruddy represented indigent elderly residents of Franklin County in consumer rights matters. As a member of the Franklin County Bar Advocate for Women Grant Program, Mr. Ruddy represented indigent victims of domestic violence in Franklin County Probate and Family Court.
While Mr. Ruddy enjoyed living in Massachusetts, he and his family relocated to Florida in 2012 after he accepted an offer to practice in a high volume Social Security and VA disability law firm based out of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mr. Ruddy represented thousands of claimants denied Social Security disability benefits as an associate of that firm from 2012 to 2017.
Mr. Ruddy joined Morgan & Morgan in March 2017. He brings a wealth of Social Security disability experience to the firm. Mr. Ruddy is limited to practicing Social Security disability only.
