Mark B. Weisser, Car Accidents Attorney in Cincinnati, Ohio

In 1988, Mark B. Weisser and his partner, Scott A. Wolf, established Weisser and Wolf – a premier personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm serving Cincinnati, Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Mr. Weisser is one of the first attorneys to be certified as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law by the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Weisser has served as an adjunct facility member of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law Northern Kentucky where he served as an instructor in Ohio workers’ compensation law for over ten years.

In 2010, Mr. Weisser acted as lead attorney in an electrical injury case involving a local utility company, which resulted in a multi-million dollar settlement.

Mr. Weisser was born and raised in Cincinnati and he has remained in the region since graduating from Walnut Hills High School. He is married and has two adult children. He has worked extensively with several charities in the community.

B) Morton v. Continental Casualty Ins. Co., 2008-Ohio-1126. Successful appeal finding defendant employer’s insurance policy covered motor vehicle accident.C) Aretz v. Rue (1995) 106 App.3d 605. Successful appeal in a motor vehicle accident case holding that plaintiff, in failing to secure cargo in a work van was not legally obligated to anticipate the negligence of another.D) Long v. Long, 2006-Ohio-2241. Successful appeal holding that a clause in an auto insurance policy which reduced coverage for a permissive user of the policy was void.E) Emmert v. Mabe, 2008-Ohio-1884. Successful appeal in a workers’ compensation claim holding that plaintiff’s knee injury occurred in the course and scope of employment.F) State ex rel.Greco v. BWC, et al., 2001-Ohio-293. Successful appeal in the Ohio Supreme Court which held that employer’s evidence showing safety equipment as purchased did not relieve employer of their duty to actually provide the equipment to the employee.G) Harrison v. Panera, 2013-Ohio-5338 and Bohl v. Casseus Transport Co, 2012-Ohio-2248. Both of these successful appeals helped to define the evidentiary standards as to what constitutes a substantial aggravation of pre-existing injury under Ohio workers’ compensation law.
