He also studied law at Oxford University in England. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in May of 2004. After working for a law firm for one year, he decided to start his own practice. In addition to his private practice, Mark has handled hundreds of criminal and juvenile cases on a contract basis through the Iowa State Public Defender's Office. Mark served as defense counsel with the Johnson County Drug Treatment Court for roughly 8 years, and subsequently served as a Judicial Magistrate for the Sixth Judicial District for over 7 years. Now he focuses solely on his private criminal law practice.
