Mr. Katz has handled several disputes before the IRS and the Nevada Department of Taxation. Mr. Katz earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas in May, 1994; his J.D. (cum laude) from Suffolk University Law School, Boston, MA in May 1997; and his LL.M. (taxation) from Boston University School of Law in May 1998. While at Suffolk Law School, Mr. Katz served as Research Assistant to Professor Russell Murphy during the 1995-1996 academic year. Mr. Katz is admitted to the State Bar of Nevada, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and the U.S. Tax Court.
