Matthew was raised in Southern Nevada and is a proud product of Nevada’s System of Higher Education. Matthew graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with degrees in Political Public Relations and Philosophy, and received his Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to attending law school, Matthew proudly served former Nevada Governor, Kenny C. Guinn, as a speechwriter and public affairs liaison. Upon the conclusion of the Governor's term of office, Mr. Friedman joined the private sector, where he worked in finance before transitioning into the practice of law. Matthew is a member of the Nevada State Bar – Family Law Section, the Clark County Bar Association, the American Bar Association the Cardozo Society of Southern Nevada and the Anti Defamation League (ADL). Matthew frequently lends his time to Southern Nevada’s underprivileged families, working closely with the Clark County Pro Bono Project and Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada.

Matthew, his wife Jennifer, and their son Dylan are proud to call Las Vegas their home. When not zealously representing his clients, Mr. Friedman enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, snowboarding, camping, and attending concerts and sporting events.
