Max Leinoff is an associate with the law firm of Leinoff & Lemos, P.A. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law (J.D. cum laude, 2013) and an alumnus of The George Washington University (B.A., 2010). While at the University of Miami School of Law, Mr. Leinoff was awarded the John F. Evans Memorial Scholarship for his ability to distinguish himself in the Litigation Skills program. Mr. Leinoff also received Honors recognition in both his trial and pre-trial sections of the class-wide Litigation Skills program, earned Dean’s list and served on the Board of Directors of the honors legal fraternity Phi Delta Phi. Currently, Mr. Leinoff serves as the co-chairman for the philanthropy and fundraising section of the Young Alumni Committee for the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Leinoff also serves on the Board of Directors of Kidside, Inc., a non-profit organization devoted to supporting Family Court Services in its endeavor to continue to provide services for children and parents suffering from family conflict.
Prior to joining Leinoff & Lemos, P.A., Mr. Leinoff clerked at a prominent South Florida law firm and assisted in the handling of legal matters involving complex corporate and business litigation including shareholder and partnership disputes, landlord/tenant issues, intellectual property litigation, legal malpractice, and real estate litigation. Mr. Leinoff also spent a summer clerking for an Eleventh Circuit Court Judge during his time as a law student.
Mr. Leinoff currently devotes 100% of his practice to litigation, focusing on the areas of marital and family law matters including divorce, child custody issues, relocation, alimony and child support matters, modification actions, business valuations and paternity disputes.
