While at Pepperdine, she was a Co-Chair of the Honor Board, a student-run organization that handled issues of academic honesty in conjunction with the Academic Dean. Ms. Doyle was also an executive editor for the Dispute Resolution Law Journal. Her article, Circles of Trust: Using Restorative Justice to Repair Organizations Marred by Sex Abuse, 14 Pepp. Disp. Resol. L.J. Iss. 2 (2014), was selected to be published by that journal. During law school, Ms. Doyle was a judicial extern for the Honorable Steven Z. Perren in the Division Six of the Second District of the California Court of Appeal. She also was a certified law clerk in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office where she argued motions, conducted preliminary hearings, and conducted a misdemeanor jury trial. Ms. Doyle earned her Master of Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution concurrently with her Juris Doctorate. During her studies for her Masters degree, Ms. Doyle mediated dozens of disputes for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
