Michael H. Cicchetti received his undergraduate degree from Central Connecticut StateUniversity in 1968 and his law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in1972. After several years of working in Waterbury area law firms as an associate, and then as a partner, he founded a solo practice of law, which later became the well-known and respectedWaterbury law firm of Cicchetti & Tansley. Sixteen years later, in 2005, the growing law firm changed its name to the present, Cicchetti, Tansley & McGrath LLP.Attorney Cicchetti is admitted to practice in Connecticut state and federal courts and the U.S.Supreme Court.
