A lawyer for over thirty years, Mr. Rusing has tried well over 100 cases in federal and state courts in diverse areas such as breach of fiduciary duty, contract, ERISA, employment, environmental, insurance bad faith, insurance coverage, legal malpractice, medical malpractice, patent infringement, products liability, securities, trusts and estates, will contests, and wrongful death. He has argued cases before the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Supreme Court, the Nevada Supreme Court, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panels, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Although Mr. Rusing still maintains a significant part of his litigation practice in the injury area, including products liability and malpractice, in recent years his focus has been on significant business litigation frequently involving the prosecution and defense of fraud actions, partnerships disputes or other business entity litigation among principals, and matters involving real estate or construction.

Mr. Rusing has been a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers since 2004, and is the current State Chair for the State of Arizona. Mr. Rusing was also selected by his peers to be included in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation. The Chambers and Partners USA Survey of America’s Leading Business Lawyers recognized Mick as a top litigator in Arizona.
