Michael Miceli moved with his family from New Jersey to Las Vegas in 1984. A graduate of Valley High School, Michael also achieved success at the Honors College of UNLV, where he graduated Cum Laude with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Political Science, and at the UNLV Boyd School of Law where he received his law degree.

In law school, Michael was an extern for Justice Michael Cherry, who later served as a member of the Nevada Supreme Court. Michael was also a law clerk at the Federal Public Defender’s Office and has extensive experience writing briefs in the Federal District Court of Nevada and in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Michael is licensed to practice in all Nevada courts including the Federal District Court of Nevada.

The protégé of Mr. Pitaro, Michael was hand-selected by Mr. Pitaro to join his firm directly after being admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2006. Based on his exemplary trial skills while studying Trial Advocacy under Mr. Pitaro at the the Boyd School of Law, Mr. Pitaro knew Michael would make an outstanding addition to Pitaro & Fumo.

Michael has tried numerous jury trials to verdict as well as filed appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court. His tenacity in court is well-known and he is one of the most successful criminal defense attorneys in the State of Nevada.
