He also served as an intern with the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission.

Prior to law school, Michael worked as a claims adjuster for a Mississippi-based insurance company, and after law school his initial practice primarily involved defending insurance companies. In these positions he obtained invaluable experience in all aspects of claims handling and defense – experience that he now utilizes in representing individuals in their claims against insurance companies. Michael joined Richard Schwartz & Associates in 2013, and his practice is now primarily dedicated to helping injured and disabled Mississippians.
